Warm Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal with Hemp Seed Oil

Enjoy a warm, nutritious breakfast with apple cinnamon oatmeal infused with hemp seed oil for added health benefits.

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons 13 Seeds hemp seed oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries or raisins

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a gentle boil.
  2. Add the rolled oats, diced apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt to the saucepan. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are tender and the mixture has thickened.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and maple syrup (if using).
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit for a minute to cool slightly.
  5. Stir in the hemp seed oil until well combined.
  6. Divide the oatmeal into bowls and top with chopped walnuts or pecans and dried cranberries or raisins.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious, nutrient-packed oatmeal!
