Turmeric and Ginger Hot Cocoa

Treat yourself and your loved ones with a sweet, nutrient rich drink.

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 capsules of TheraJoint+ (emptied) 
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the almond milk, cocoa powder, turmeric powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, maple syrup, and black pepper.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into mugs and enjoy this warming and health-boosting hot cocoa.
