Where does hemp oil come from?

Hemp oil comes from the seed of the hemp plant. 13 Seeds award-winning hemp oil is made in Tasmania and made from 100% Tasmanian grown hemp (2019 harvest).

How can I use it?

Hemp oil can be used orally and also used topically. Try a teaspoon a day to notice health benefits, use as a cold oil for salad dressings or to add to smoothies, or use topically as a gentle make-up remover.

Terry and Gemma's farm tip: "You can simply try taking a teaspoon of our 13 Seeds Hemp Oil each day, or you can incorporate it into family meals. We use it as a salad dressing or an oil to dip bread into. It has a low smoke point, so is not suitabe as a cooking oil, however, you can also add it to smoothies or fresh juice to get your daily serve. Every morning we take a teaspoonful, and so do our six children, before we have our hemp protein fruit smoothies. It's a great way for the whole family to start the day!"
